It is Saturday night in the Paris, the City of Light. I took this photo a short while ago as I was crossing one of the many bridges over the Seine River.
I hope that your Saturday night is as colorful and filled with light.

We have nothing like that here. Beautiful!
There is beauty to be found everywhere, sometimes natural and sometimes manmade. The challenge for me is to put myself in positions that give me the maximum possible opportunity to find it, which generally translates into a lot of walking. 🙂
I know what you mean!
Rivers at night are probably my favorite photos, Mike. Thanks for sharing this.
I’ve grown to really enjoy night photography during this trip, Dan, and your are so correct about rivers at night being especially cool. Here, there are so many bridges and embankments and such that there are an almost endless number of possibilities for shots of “rivers at night.”
Share as many of those as you like. Growing up in Pittsburgh, I can’t help but love bridges over rivers.
The illuminated bridge is beautiful and the dark cloudy sky is a great backdrop for it all.
