Faded signs in Wheeling, West Virginia

This past Thursday I made a quick trip to Wheeling, West Virginia and fell in love with the signs that had been painted long ago on the sides of some of the brick buildings in the downtown area. Here are a few of my favorite ones.

I’ve never been to Wheeling, but I have several pieces of antique china made in the factories there. They produced some of the prettiest American flow blue there is. It’s fun to see a bit of the old days still lingering.
