Wonderful light, wonderful color!
Thanks, Cindy. Although it’s usually optimal when the light is behind me, sometimes you get a cool effect when the light is coming from the back or from the side.
My favorite bird!!!! Gorgeous in the light!!!
They are one of my favorites too, in part because they stay in my area throughout the winter.
Love the composition and your use of light is fantastic.
Thanks, Charlie. I really liked the lighting when I took the shot and was happy that I was able to capture the effect, at least in part.
I really like the effect when the light hits the subject and leaves other areas darker.
Gorgeous, I love Cardinals.
Thanks. They were one of the first birds that I could easily identify and they are special to me too.
There are two in the trees out back. I could pick off birds shots all day if I had the right lenses.
These birds are so beautiful. I wish I could see them in the wild but with my type of colorblindness they (and cardinal flowers) blend right in. I’ll guess I’ll just have to keep coming here to see them!
Lovely!
Thanks. It’s nice to be able to catch an occasional bird with signs of the fall colors.
