Best wishes for a blessed and happy Easter to all who are celebrating this day. Earlier this morning I went to an outdoor sunrise service at my church at 6:30 a.m. and I am not getting ready for our normal morning service in a couple of hours. Easter is a bit later this year than in some years in the past and it was already light and pleasantly warm when we began our service—in past years we were often bundled up and needed flashlights to read the programs.
I chose two images to celebrate Easter. The first is a macro shot of a flower from a recent trip to Green Spring Gardens and it speaks to me of the growth and renewal of this season. The second is a shot of my PR (Prime Rib), my very own Easter bunny, who greets me each morning.
Happy Easter to all of you.

Happy Easter to you, Mike. I think I’ve missed something — is this a pet rabbit? It’s beautiful!
Thanks. He’s a pet rabbit that I adopted when a friend moved into an apartment that did not permit pets (she got her doctor to certify that her pet Cocker Spaniel was an emotional therapy dog, but I don’t think that justification would work for a bunny).
Awww. Happy Easter, Mike. Love the bunny!
Thanks, Dan.
Happy Easter, Mike~~ thank you for the lovely photos. The rabbit fur looks so soft….
Thanks, Jet. The friend who let me adopt her rabbit said he is part Angora and the hair is really soft. At certain times of the year he sheds his coat.
Happy Easter, dear friend
May God bless you and your family
May God bless all people with a better understanding to each other, with more respect,
with more consciousness.

Tanks so much. Easter is such an awesome time for hope and renewal and for lovw.
What a beauty! I love the close up of the flower. Happy Easter! 🙂
Thanks so much. I love to do macro shots of flowers. So many of them have such awesomely beautiful details that are wonderfully revealed inn close-ups.
I keep forgetting you have a bunny. Yesterday at the Easter Egg Hunt at Palm Coast Center there were two large burnt sienna dragon flies hovering around the trees and grass. I knew you would know exactly what kind they were.
When we looked out our windows on the back yard, there were two large brown domestic rabbits in our yard. We thought perhaps the yard had armadillos. Now we know we have rabbits. That’s good news and bad news.
Happy Easter!
And a very happy Easter to you too, Mike!
