I love that first shot with the highlights on the wings. I tried to get in front of one the other day and it flew away each time. It let me take all the side shots I wanted, but none of the face. Maybe it was shy.
Dragonflies have such amazing vision that I am surprised that they ever let us take any shots when they are aware of our presence.
