After sunset

I watched the sun go down yesterday evening at my local marsh and was initially disappointed as the sun dropped lower and lower on the horizon without any real displays of color. Eventually, though, my patience was rewarded, when for a few minutes the sky turned a beautiful shade of red.

Hey, you didn’t need to leave the neighborhood to photograph the sunset tonight! Did you see the one I did from the street in front of our house?

  I went out shooting at Huntley Meadows later in the day and hung around for the sunset. Your shots are gorgeous.

Very dramatic and intense color.
