Pointless in Paris

I think the spiky protrusions were intended to keep birds from perching on this post along the Seine River, but somehow this gull did not get the point.

  Thanks, Liz. It was a fun photo with kind of a cool background that gives you a sense of the urban environment. I like the way that the orange of the bill and feet are the only bright, warm colors among the rest of the muted tones.
