The marsh is especially beautiful early in the morning, as birds like this Red-winged Blackbird (Agelaius phoeniceus) welcome the first rays of the rising sun. The water is still, reflecting the glory of the new day, and a sense of peace overwhelms me.

Thanks, Victor. The subject is common and the composition is simple, but the ordinary elements combined pretty well to capture the special feel of that time of the day.
It’s always been my favorite time of day and your shot reminds me of why.
Before I scrolled down it looked like a field covered in snow. Maybe the after-effect of our harsh winter.
