Absolutely love the detail you are able to capture in you photos.
I like that dark purple (?) one. they’re an interesting flower-especially up close.
I tried taking a group photo of the columbines, but I am more attracted to close-ups, which highlight their shapes as much as their colors.
I don’t think I have ever looked this closely at a columbine — very nice close-ups you have here with good depth of field. Did you use a flash?
I experimented a little with using my pop-up flash that day, but I don’t think that I used it for these. I still have a lot to learn about how to use flash effectively.
