Angry bird? I don’t know for sure if this American Robin (Turdus migratorius) was angry, but it sure did not look happy when I started walking toward it on the boardwalk this morning at Huntley Meadows Park.

He does look angry Mike.
I think he might just have wanted one more hour of sleep, a shave, and a cozy place by a fire for an hour or so. And maybe a rare kind word from his wife.
Lol
😮
He does indeed look quite disgruntled. If birds had lips, his bottom one would be quite turned out I think.
Awesomeness!!!!
Thanks. Normally I don’t photograph birds eye-to-eye, but in this case it added to the effect.
Is he angry because we have been flinging him at pigs.
That could easily be the case 🙂
Great shot, great angle.
Thanks, Victor. It violates some general rules to shoot birds head-on, but sometimes it gives a really cool look to an image.
Rules are meant to be broken as proved your photo. If photography were about rules I for one would pack it in. I prefer photographs like yours.
Probably just the cold. Up here in New Hampshire we all look about the same.
Yep, looks angry to me, lol! 🙂
Michael, please contact me about commercial use of this image. Thanks.
I sent you an e-mail, Mac.
Great photo!
