Love returns

During a short visit to Green Spring Gardens this past weekend, I was thrilled to see that one of my favorite flowers is starting to bloom, Love-in-a-mist (Nigella damascena). I smile at its name and marvel at its delicate beauty.

  Thanks. I started off shooting flowers and a few insects when I started getting more serious about shooting two years ago, Each spring now I rediscover my love for my macro lens, which mostly gathers dust during the winter.
