Some birds (and some people I know) really like to make an entrance. This Canada Goose (Branta canadensis) made a big splashy arrival in the marsh that seemed to be intended to catch the attention of the spectators already there.
They did not seem to be impressed.

Pretty ho hum if you’re another goose I guess, but I like watching them.
Me too-I enjoy watching them come and go. I am always amazed at how close the geese land to each other.
Guess there’s not many ways a goose can stand out in a crowd.
That’s pretty impressive actually–getting all in focus!
Looks like the judges on the panel aren’t going to give him more than a 5.
