The colors in the sky were soft and beautiful early last Thursday morning at Occoquan Bay National Wildlife Refuge. The reflections in the water were equally beautiful. What a wonderful way to start the day.

Very Nice Mike! A Great way to start the day!
Yes, “What a wonderful way to start the day!”
Sunrise over water is the best! I love the bird capture, too.
Thanks for sharing these exquisite photos of your sunrise, Mike. I hope your day is full of sunshine.
Sunrise can be so very beautiful, lovely shots Mike.
Beautiful mellow light, Mike.
Thanks, Chris. I suspect that you get to see a whole lot more sunrises than I do. 🙂
Sunrises at sea are really special, but at the moment it’s sunsets we are witnessing: colourful for the unfortunate reason that the fires in Australia make for spectacular evening skies.
Gorgeous!
Such incredible beauty!
Oh yes!!
